The addition of Syrah and Mourvèdre adds further complexity and structure to the blend. With a few years of bottle age, this Gigondas has begun to reveal the savoury complexity and refined tannins that make these wines such compelling alternatives to their more famous Châteauneuf-du-Pape neighbours.
