Azada Chilli Oil

Like all of Azada's flavoured oils, this is not an infusion — it is a co-press. Fresh Spanish chillies are pressed together with Arbequina olives at the same time in the mill, so the heat, colour, and aromatic compounds of the chillies are extracted directly into the oil during production. The result is fundamentally different from a standard chilli oil where dried flakes are steeped in neutral oil after the fact. Here, the chilli character is integrated from the start: a clean, warming heat with a sweet, fruity undertone from the Arbequina olive oil beneath it. No additives, no artificial flavourings, no preservatives.

The heat is present but controlled — warming rather than aggressive, which makes the oil versatile. Drizzle over pasta, pizza, and risotto for an instant lift. Use it to finish grilled or roasted vegetables, meat, and seafood. Add to marinades for chicken, pork, or prawns. Stir into soups and stews at the end of cooking for a background warmth that builds gently. It also works well as a dipping oil with bread, blended into mayonnaise or aioli for a spicy condiment, or drizzled over eggs — fried, scrambled, or poached.
